Il Concerto Finale avrà luogo presso la prestigiosa sede degli “Amici del Loggione Teatro alla Scala”, nel cuore di Milano.
REGOLAMENTO
ART 1. A CHI SI RIVOLGE
• Il Worskhop è aperto a studenti di canto e professionisti, italiani e stranieri, limite d’età 40 anni; a pianisti e a registi (senza limite d’età).
• Gli allievi si distinguono in:
– Canto effettivi: 9 posti disponibili.
– Canto uditori: potranno assistere alle lezioni senza potervi partecipare attivamente;
hanno facoltà di porre domande tra una lezione e l’altra.
– (Gli iscritti devono arrivare con la parte a memoria del ruolo da loro scelto
– Pianisti effettivi: 2 posti disponibili.
– Regia effettivi: 3 posti disponibili.
ART. 2 AMMISSIONE CANTANTI e PIANISTI
• Sarà effettuata una selezione sui files audio/video inviati.
• Per i cantanti, i files inviati devono contenere una o più arie tratte dalle opere in oggetto.
• Per i pianisti, i files inviati dovranno contenere una o più brani accompagnati al pianoforte, preferibilmente di opere di Rossini.
ART. 2a AMMISSIONE REGISTI
• L’iscrizione alla classe di regia non prevede esame di ammissione. Sarà effettuata una selezione in base al curriculum inviato.
• Il corso per registi prevede la presentazione di un progetto a libera scelta (escluse le opere in programma) del partecipante. La presentazione dovrà essere corredata da un abbozzo di idea scenografica e da una concezione scritta.
ART 3. SPECIFICHE
• Le lezioni si svolgeranno dal 31 Gennaio al 5 Febbraio 2022.
• Verrà redatto quotidianamente un “ordine del giorno” con gli orari e le modalità delle lezioni individuali e del lavoro d’insieme.
• Verrà utilizzata l’edizione Ricordi.
ART 4. MASTERCLASS DI CANTO
Una parte importante del lavoro vocale verte sulla dizione del testo e sul sillabato stretto, vero codice musicale di stampo rossiniano per sottolineare la comicità di personaggi o situazioni.
• Gli iscritti devono conoscere a memoria i brani in programma del ruolo da loro scelto.
• Ogni allievo ha diritto a 4 lezioni individuali di canto; la lezione ha durata di 45 minuti. dovendo lavorare anche su brani d’insieme, si farà in modo di redigere gli orari nel modo più opportuno.
• Gli allievi devono essere presenti per l’intero giorno e tutti i giorni, pena la non emissione dell’attestato e ammissione al concerto.
ART 5. SEMINARIO DI INTERPRETAZIONE SCENICA
Vengono date le basi della recitazione scenica e successivamente montata la regia vera e propria delle arie e delle scene d’insieme. Il lavoro verte sulle sinergie sceniche, sulla solidarietà in scena nei pezzi di assieme, sulla fisicità connessa alla tecnica e alla respirazione.
La regia delle varie arie permette una simulazione della realtà dell’opera lirica in teatro, pertanto il concerto finale sarà semiscenico.
ART. 6 CORSO PER MAESTRI COLLABORATORI
Il Workshop offre ai pianisti l’opportunità di formarsi e fare esperienza diretta come maestri collaboratori, professione che richiede molteplici abilità e competenze.
I pianisti ammessi saranno impiegati anche nelle prove, e a discrezione dei docenti potranno prendere parte al Concerto Finale.
ART. 7 LABORATORIO PER ASSISTENTI ALLA REGIA
A ogni partecipante al corso potrà essere data l’opportunità,a discrezione del corpo didattico, di lavorare su un brano del programma con i partecipanti alla classe di canto, compatibilmente con gli orari e le esigenze dei docenti delle suddette classi. Gli allievi registi hanno l’obbligo di presenza per le prove tenute dal maestro Vizioli con i partecipanti delle classi di canto. I progetti presentati dagli iscritti saranno soggetto e materia di studio e confronto per tutti i partecipanti nell’ambito della classe di regia.

• Cantanti effettivi: € 280,00 quota d’iscrizione + € 400,00 quota di frequenza.
• Cantanti uditori: € 100,00 quota d’iscrizione + € 140,00 quota di frequenza.
• Pianisti: € 280 quota d’iscrizione + 300,00 quota di frequenza.
• Registi: € 280 quota d’iscrizione + 300,00 quota di frequenza.
ART. 10 MODALITA’ DI PAGAMENTO

ART. 11 ISCRIZIONI
• Le iscrizioni sono aperte e chiuderanno il 24 Gennaio.
• Documenti da allegare alla domanda di iscrizione da inviare a info@cantoalato.it
1- Modulo di iscrizione compilato (scarica il pdf)
2- Frontespizio del passaporto o della carta di identità
3- Curriculum comprendente l’eventuale attività didattica e/o concertistica
4- Registrazione audio o video di uno o più arie cantate dal candidato (per i cantanti), e di almeno due brani come accompagnatore suonati dal candidato (per i pianisti): in formato mp3 o mp4 o YouTube.
• Entro il 25 Gennaio verrà effettuata la selezione e a tutti gli iscritti verrà comunicato l’elenco degli allievi ammessi.
• Entro due giorni dalla comunicazione, deve essere effettuato il versamento della quota di iscrizione e inviata la ricevuta di pagamento a:

• La quota di frequenza deve essere corrisposta il giorno d’inizio del Workshop.
ART. 12 REGOLE INDEROGABILI
• Le quote versate (iscrizione e/o frequenza) non saranno restituite, anche parzialmente, nel caso di rinuncia da parte dell’allievo.
• Nel caso in cui non vi fossero le condizioni idonee all’avvio del Workshop la quota pagata per l’iscrizione e/o frequenza verrà restituita.
• OttavaNota e Accademia Cantoalato non si ritengono responsabili dell’eventuale sospensione delle attività per motivi indipendenti dalla propria volontà; nel caso in cui il Workshop non si potesse svolgere nelle date indicate, sarà tuttavia rimandato e saranno prontamente comunicate le nuove date.
ART. 13 CONCERTO FINALE
• Il Concerto finale si terrà il 6 Febbraio.
• Tutti gli iscritti parteciperanno al concerto finale.
• OttavaNota e Accademia Cantoalato non si ritengono responsabili dell’eventuale impossibilità di svolgere il concerto in presenza del pubblico, a causa di motivi indipendenti dalla propria volontà. Il tal caso, il concerto avrà comunque luogo e sarà trasmesso in streaming.
• È opportuno munirsi di abito da concerto.
• Saranno invitati agenti e/o organizzatori.
• Gli allievi che a giudizio insindacabile del docente si saranno distinti nel corso della Masterclass per particolari doti artistiche, potranno essere inseriti nei programmi delle manifestazioni organizzate da Accademia Cantoalato, Associazione Euterpe OttavaNota, Associazione Amici della Lirica di Saronno “Giuditta Pasta”, Casa Verdi – Milano, DEMOCO, e/o segnalati agli agenti che collaborano con l’Accademia.
ART. 14 ATTESTATO
A conclusione del Workshop verrà rilasciato un attestato di partecipazione a tutti gli iscritti che avranno frequentato il corso per intero. L’attestato sarà rilasciato da Accademia Cantoalato, Associazione Euterpe OttavaNota, col Patrocinio di DEMOCO.
ART. 15 COPYRIGHT e PROPRIETA’ INTELLETTUALE
• Accademia Cantoalato effettuerà la registrazione audio-video del concerto finale, che costituisce l’unica registrazione autorizzata per un utilizzo pubblico. Tale registrazione, integrale o parziale, potrà essere richiesta dai partecipanti e sarà pubblicata sul sito di OttavaNota. Lo stesso vale per i materiali fotografici.
Accademia Cantoalato e OttavaNota detengono i diritti di distribuzione, divulgazione e utilizzo attinenti registrazioni audio, video, pubblicazioni e/o altro afferente alla Masterclass in oggetto.
• Sono ammesse registrazioni (audio o video) delle lezioni, solo ed esclusivamente per uso personale. Sottoscrivendo l’iscrizione si accetta la clausola esplicita di non diffusione di tali materiali audio o video tramite qualsiasi mezzo o strumento.

The Final Concert will take place at the prestigious venue of “Amici del Loggione Teatro alla Scala”, in the heart of Milan.
REGULATIONS
ART 1. WHO IS THE WORKSHOP AIMED
• The opera Studio is open to Italian and foreign singing students and professionals, age limit 40 years;
• To pianists and directors (no age limit).
• Students are distinguished in:
– Singing (active students): 9 places available
– Singing (auditors): will be able to attend the lessons without being able to participate actively; may ask questions between classes.
– Pianists: 2 places available.
– Directors: 3 places available.
ART 2. ADMISSION SINGERS AND PIANISTS
• A selection will be made on the audio/video files sent.
– For singers, the files sent must contain one or more arias from the operas in program.
– For pianists, the files sent must contain one or more pieces accompanied to the piano, preferably works by Rossini.
ART 2a. ADMISSION DIRECTORS
• Registration for the direction class does not include an admission exam.
• A selection will be made based on the sent curriculum.
• The course for directors includes the presentation of a free choice project (excluding the works in the program) of the participant.
• The presentation must be accompanied by a sketch of a scenographic idea and a written conception.
ART 3. SPECIFICATIONS
• Lessons will take place from January 31st, to February 5th.
• A daily “agenda” will be drawn up with the schedules and modalities of individual lessons and of the overall work.
• The Ricordi edition will be used.
• The Masterclass will take place in Milan, Via Marco Bruto, 24
ART. 4 SINGING MASTERCLASS
• An important part of the vocal work concerns the diction of the text and the narrow syllabary, a true Rossini musical code to emphasize the comedy of characters or situations.
• Subscribers must know by heart the scheduled songs of the role they choose.
Each student is entitled to 4 individual singing lessons; the lesson lasts 45 minutes. If needs to work on ensembles pieces, a schedules will be done in the most appropriate way.
• Students must be present for the whole day and every day, under penalty of not issuing the certificate and admission to the concert.
ART. 5 SEMINARY ON ACTING
The basics of stage acting are given and then the actual direction of the arias and the set scenes is set. The work focuses on scenic synergies, on the solidarity on stage in the ensemble pieces, on physicality related to technique and breathing.
The direction of the various arias allows a simulation of the reality of opera in the theater, so the final concert will be semi-scenic.
ART. 6 COURSE FOR PIANO COACHES
The Workshop offers pianists the opportunity to train and gain direct experience as collaborative pianists, a profession that requires multiple skills.
The pianists admitted will also be used in the rehearsals and at the discretion of the teachers can take part in the Final Concert.
ART. 7 WORKSHOP FOR ASSISTANT STAGE DIRECTOR
Each participant in the course may be given the opportunity, at the discretion of the teaching staff, to work on a piece of the program with the participants in the singing class, compatible with the schedules and needs of the teachers of the aforementioned classes. The students directors are obliged to be present for the rehersals held by M° Vizioli with the participants of the singing classes. The projects submitted by the members will be subject of study and comparison for all participants in the directing class.

• Singers-uditors (for the whole course): 100,00€ for registration fee + 140,00€ for participation

• Directors: 280,00€ for registration fee + 300,00€ for course attendance.
ART. 10 TERMS OF PAYMENT

4. Audio or video recording of one or more arias sung by the applicant (for singers), and at least two pieces of accompaniment played by the candidate (for pianists): mp3 or mp4 mode, or Youtube link.
• Within January 25th 2022 all applicants will be informed of the list of active students.
• Within two days of notification, the registration fee must be paid and the payment receipt sent to:

• The cours attendance fee must be paid on the starting day of the Workshop at the secretariat of Ottavanota in cash, credit card, debit card, cheque or Satispay or bank transfer.
ART. 12 MANDATORY RULES
• None of these payment will be given back or refunded, not even partially, in case of waiver by the applicant.
• In case of missing conditions for the starting of the Workshop, the paid registration fee will be returned.
• OttavaNota and Accademia Lirica Cantoalato are not responsible for any suspension of activities for reasons beyond their will; in case the Masterclass could not be carried out on the dates indicated, however, it will be postponed and new dates will be communicated promptly. As the Workshop will take place, the refund of the registration and/or attendance fee cannot be requested.
• Every decision is at unquestionable discretion of the Teacher.
ART. 13 FINAL CONCERT
• On January 6th 2022 there will performed a public concert of the students.
• All students will participate in the final concert.
• Ottavanota and Accademia Lirica Cantoalato are not responsible for the impossibility of performing the concert at the indicated venue and/ or in the presence of the public, due to reasons independent of their will. In this case, the concert will still take place at the Ottavanota Auditorium and the video recording of the concert will be published on the page of Accademia Cantoalato.
• Please get a concert suit.
• Agents and/or organizers will be invited.
• The students who, by unappealable decision of the Teacher, have excelled during the Masterclass for their special artistic qualities, will be included in the programmes of the music festivals organized by Accademia Cantoalato, Associazione Euterpe OttavaNota, Associazione Amici di Casa Verdi Milano, Amici della Lirica di Saronno, DEMOCO.
ART. 14 CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
At the end of the Workshop a Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all the students who have attended the whole course. The Certificate will be issued by dall’Accademia Cantoalato, Associazione Euterpe OttavaNota, under the Patronage of DEMOCO .
ART. 15 COPYRIGHT and INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
• Accademia Lirica Cantoalato will make the audio-video recording of the Final Concert, which is the only authorized recording for public use. This recording, in whole or in part, may be requested by the participants and will be published on the OttavaNota website. The same applies to photographic materials.
• Accademia Cantoalato and OttavaNota hold the distribution, disclosure and use rights related to audio, video, publications and/ or other related to the Workshop.
• Recordings (audio or video) of the lessons are allowed, exclusively for personal use. By signing the Application Form of the Masterclass you accept the explicit clause of not broadcasting audio or video by any means or any tool.
